This page offers conversions from biblical weights
and measurements into modern measurements. Some
Bible translations already do this, some offer a
conversion as a footnote, and some use the old
unconverted words. Using this page you can find
out approximately what the Biblical author intended when
they wrote a measurement. All measurements are modern
day approximations and should not be taken as exact conversions.
For instance, a quart and a liter are nearly the same amount but
they are not exact. The greater amount, the more the
conversion suffers. A meter and a yard are similar but 100
meters is over 108 yards.
