A pastor resigned after finishing an effective ministry. On his last Sunday, a member of his congregation was standing
at the door crying her eyes out.
Oh Pastor she sobbed how will we ever find anyone to
replace you? I am
sure the denominational leaders will help you find someone even
better than I will, he replied. “Oh sure”, she said bitterly.
That is what they all say every time but it always gets worse.
