Political Disclaimer

Spreading Light Ministries is not a registered non-profit organization and is therefore free to make political statements that a church cannot.  That said, its founder is a registered Independent and does not favor a political party. 

Rather than getting wrapped up in issues, most of which don't have a direct effect on us, we would rather see leaders who fear God and wish to serve Him.  We recognize that there are such men and women belonging to both major political parties.

In an ideal world, God's Word would be law and there wouldn't be need for such bickering.  However, this won't occur until Christ reigns on earth.  Until that time, we most rest secure in the fact that God is still in charge no matter how much power men and women believe they hold - God put them in that position and He can just as easily remove them.
