Programs at Mainsville

At Mainsville, we try to accommodate people at all stages of their walk with Christ.  For this reason we have many programs in place and are in the process of adding additional programs to better serve the people of our community.

We have knowledgeable Sunday school teachers who are hard at work every Sunday morning, teaching people of all ages.

We just launched a new youth group for jr. & sr. high (grades 6-12) and are planning some great events for the upcoming months.

During the worship service, we will be starting Junior Church for elementary aged students so that they may participate in activities and lessons designed to help them learn while their parents may listen to the sermon.

Wednesday evening is our in depth Bible study time.  This is a time for interaction and discussion of God's Word.  We are currently studying the gifts of the Holy Spirit and will soon dive into the book of Acts.

On Sunday evenings we plan to have a deeper emphasis on prayer and worship.  Two Sundays a month will be devoted to prayer time.  One Sunday evening will be a contemporary service, aiming to draw in those who would not come to a traditional service because of preconceived ideas about dress or music styles.  A fourth Sunday evening will be spent affirming our traditional background with a hymn sing night.  This allows people to sing the songs they have loved and grown up with but might not get to sing as often as they would like.

There will be no Sunday evening services from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
