Pastors at Mainsville

Our Senior Pastor is Bob Mentzer.  He became the pastor in 1971 and is in his 33rd year with the church.  He is a 1963 graduate of Shippensburg University.  He also completed a 3 yr Bible course through Huntington College as a requirement for ordination.
Bob has worked as a bi-vocational pastor until 2003 when he retired from teaching American History at Tuscarora school district.  He worked there from 1963-2003.
He and his wife Judy were married in November of 1963 and have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

Our Assistant Pastor is Mike Stine.  He just joined our church in January of 2004.  Mike graduated from Lancaster Bible College in 2002.  He is pursuing a Master's in Ministry degree from there as well as a requirement for ordination. Before coming to Mainsville, Mike was active in the Orrstown UB church.  He also worked as the youth director at Palmyra Grace Brethren Church while away at college. In his free time, Mike enjoys fooling around on his computer and watching cartoons.
